Former United States President Donald Trump's former aide testified to the House Select Committee during the Jan. 6 hearing and revealed the most shocking revelations about the Republican businessman's role in the Capitol Hill riot.

Trump's former aide, Cassidy Hutchinson, has cooperated extensively with the investigation of the panel, having sat for four closed-door depositions. She brought the goods for her in-person appearance on Tuesday as well.

Former Trump Aide Testifies

Hutchinson revealed how the former president and his inner circle were warned about the potential for violence on Jan.6, 2021, and how Trump wanted to join the throngs of his supporters at the U.S. Capitol.

The former aide's testimony bolstered the narrative that the committee has been driving toward over the last few weeks in their hearings. It was that Trump incited and supported the insurrection as part of a desperate attempt to keep himself in power and prevent Joe Biden's certification, as per CNN.

The former aide gave an explosive testimony where she established that Trump was personally aware of the potential for violence yet forged ahead on Jan. 6, 2021, with his attempts to rile up his supporters. Hutchinson said that the Republican businessman was told the morning of that day that weapons were being confiscated from some of his supporters who came for his rally.

Later on, when the former president and his team were at the Ellipse, the large oval lawn on the south side of the White House, and before his speech, Trump gave out orders to his staffers to "take the mags away," referring to the metal detectors, because the people in the crowd were "not here to hurt me."

According to Yahoo News, Trump swiftly responded to his former aide's testimony, unleashing a dozen social media posts on Tuesday, calling her a "total phony," "third-rate social climber," and suggesting that she was a "whacko" because of her handwriting.

Trump's Major Role in Capitol Riot

On his own social media platform, Trump wrote that there was no cross-examination of this "so-called witness," calling the hearing a "Kangaroo Court." In a separate post, the former president said that Hutchinson's body language gave her away completely.

Trump's remarks come after his former aide also said that, when she told her boss, former chief of staff Mark Meadows, about early reports of weapons getting confiscated, he did not even look up from his phone.

The former president also allegedly lunged at a Secret Service agent while inside the presidential limousine when he was told that he could not be taken to the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Hutchinson claims that Trump said, "I'm the 'effing' president, take me up to the Capitol now!"

Another White House aide allegedly told Hutchinson of what happened inside the vehicle that day, claiming that Trump grabbed the steering wheel of the limo in a fury after learning he was not going to be taken to the Capitol.

Trump allegedly wanted to go to the Capitol that day after speaking at a rally outside of the White House to his supporters, whom he urged to march with him to Congress and "fight" against the ongoing confirmation of President Joe Biden's electoral victory, CNBC reported.
