Facing China's near-peer might as a powerful threat for the US and its allies in Indo-Pacific has raised the tension in this part of the world.

Unveiling the Fujian Hull 003 with an EMALS that might be working makes it credible to the US and allied nations in the region. The PLAN has surged with its third carrier and has caught up in technology and numbers, worrying the American military.

Threat to US Dominance

Chinese supercarrier Fujian has catapult launching technology using magnetism that exceeds the Shandong and Liaoning, are simple ski jumps, reported the EurAsian Times.

Its electromagnetic catapult-assisted launch technology is equal to the USS Gerald Ford, which has problems with its EMALS, and the Chinese had no assistance in building its homegrown carrier.

Shandong and Liaoning are less capable than the US Nimitz class supercarrier with steam catapult; now, the PLA can carry more fuel, weapons, and ammunition. Safety with aircraft arrest systems and 80,000 tons displacement compared to hulls 001 and 002.

But it's not the only signal to Beijing's adversaries that it means business. More ships operated by the PLAN are sailing and are very lethal compared to the older US ships with a need to upgrade in a peer-level fight, as cited by CNN.

The US Navy has fewer, older ships with fewer missiles and outdated designs compared to the modernized Chinese Navy with a near-peer might have given the US and its allies too many worries.

Lethal Destroyers and Submarines ready to rumble in the Indo-Pacific The Arleigh-Burke class was the top dog, but China introduced the Type O55 Destroyer that is planned in numbers, other navies in the Indo-Pacific were not confident due to its threat.

China's most modern destroyers were introduced in 2017 and had enough tonnage to be called a cruiser by NATO. For its size, with 112 vertical launch tubes (VLS) with a missile and ship killer, land-attack missiles as its armament, it has the most missile tubes for its class, noted Naval Technology.

A displacement of 13,000 tons is called a stealth-guided missile destroyer that is not matched by any ship in service.

Incorporated is a sophisticated design with stealth shapes, radars, and more missiles to throw at its targets. None of the US, Japanese, or South Korean destroyers can match it; for size and power.

The Lhasa has joined drills in the Sea of Japan, highlighting its ready-for missions as one of five sister ships. It is not far from sailing into the Taiwan strait to heighten tensions as the allies are getting provocative, mentioned Global Times.

Recently a video showed the Type 055 capable of loading and launching the hypersonic YJ-21 ship killer called a carrier buster.

New Subs Ready for Conflict in the Pacific Region

The plan has built China's Type 39A/B submarines have been built, all 17 of them. Featuring air-independent propulsion (AIP) that allows longer submersion compared to diesel sub.

According to experts, when on batterie, an AIP sub is very stealthy; the only noise is from mechanical parts, and water flows over the hull.

One plus is it has wake-homing torpedoes that track steering and ship propellers that use sound waves to know where its target is.

Seems China's near-peer might and as a powerful threat has the US and its Allies reeling and trying to appear unperturbed. China has stuck to its gun and will not back down or accept US hegemony in the Indo-Pacific.
