According to recent reports, Prince Charles met with Prince Harry's children early this month (June).

Prince Harry and Meghan arrived in London from California on June 4 to celebrate Lilibet's first birthday. At the Queen's Platinum Jubilee service, the couple made their first public appearance in the UK in months.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also spent time away from the limelight with their family. Prince Charles is said to have been overjoyed to see the couple, as well as his grandkids. Meanwhile, Darren Stanton, speaking on behalf of Slingo to commemorate Father's Day, recently provided insight into Prince Harry's connection with his father. "I think Prince Charles, in particular, has evolved," the analyst added. "He's grown a lot more at ease in his role as a father over the years," as per Entertainment Daily.

The Sussexes left the monarchy in disarray after accusing one anonymous royal of being racist towards their baby before he was born, and the larger institution of failing to aid Meghan when she had suicidal thoughts in an interview with Oprah Winfrey. However, a senior royal source told Clarence House's annual review briefing that having the Sussexes back in the UK at the start of June had been 'fantastic.'

Meanwhile, Page Six reported earlier this month that the pair did not spend any private time with Prince William, Kate, George, Charlotte, or Louis over the Jubilee.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Are "Financially Independent"

Prince William's family is unlikely to have met Lilibet at all. According to a source, the brothers' relationship remains 'troubled' following the Sussexes' transatlantic 'truth bombs' against the Royal Family on Oprah and friendly podcasts in the US. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended the jubilee thanksgiving service at St Paul's Cathedral, but sat far across the aisle from Charles and the Cambridges, and did not attend any other public jubilee events.

Inside the cathedral, Kate Middleton and Prince William chatted with Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles, but there was no sign of the same chemistry between Harry and Meghan, who sat between Lady Sarah Chatto and Princess Eugenie's husband Jack Brooksbank and were under strict instructions to keep a low profile throughout the event.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the Platinum Jubilee early - missing the Pageant and the Queen on the balcony - as they traveled back in a private plane to California. It was the first time Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had been in full public display with the Windsors since leaving the throne two years ago to start a new life in the United States.

It comes after it was announced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now financially independent, having paid for their airfares during their Easter visit to England. After relocating to the United States, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle signed multimillion-pound partnerships with Netflix and Spotify.

With the Sussexes no longer featured in the records, Charles' charge for the activities of William and Harry and their families, as well as other expenditures such as capital expenditure and transfer to reserves, has fallen by $1.46 million over two years. The funding dropped from £5.61 million ($6.8 million) in 2019-20, when the Sussexes were still working. Prince Charles continued to support the duke and duchess with a significant sum until summer 2020, following 'Megxit,' despite Harry saying his family practically cut me off financially, according to Daily Mail.
