Two Teens Charged for Killing 15-Year-Old Girl to ‘Trade Her Soul to Devil’

Houston police arrested two teens for killing a 15-year-old girl and trying to "sell her soul to devil."

Corrian Cervantes, a student from Clear Path Alternative school, Texas, was found dead in an empty apartment February 8 at 4:10 a.m. ABC News reported that police confirmed they had evidence of occult activity. Authorities arrested 17-year-old Jose E Reyes, Sunday, and his 16-year-old male friend, who was unidentified, Monday. The two boys were Cervantes's schoolmate. They both were charged with capital murder.

Reyes confessed to the police that he sold his soul to the devil and his friend also wanted to do the same, according to Assistant Harris County District Attorney John Jordan. "They discussed the fact that Reyes had sold his soul to the devil," Jordan told Houston Chronicle. "And if they ended up killing this teenager, it would also allow the 16-year-old to also sell his soul to the devil."

"During the course of events, this teenager screamed, 'Why are you doing this to me?' and attempted to run from the apartment," Jordan said. "They stopped her and this became a kidnapping and eventually she was killed."

Jordan further said that Cervantes was stabbed, beaten and abused sexually. The authorities said she was found partially clothed with severe head trauma and numerous brutal injuries. They said she was hit on the head with a broken toilet tank lid. The murder weapon was found at the crime scene near Cervantes, reports the Examiner. The police also found a cross mark on Cervantes' stomach.

Reyes is in the Harris County jail without bail and his friend has been sent to the Harris County Juvenile courthouse.
