Russian FSB revealed the failure of NATO-Ukrainian operatives to enlist pilots of Russian combat planes to bring them to a designated airfield in Ukraine.
The heinous plot by Kyiv and western agents was revealed last Monday when the covert operation to undermine Russian aerospace forces failed miserably.
Intel Operations To Defeat Russia
According to the Federal Security Service, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense stopped the attempt to steal combat aircraft, mentioning how NATO supported the attempted hijacking, reported Sputnik News.
On the directives of the Zelensky administration, intelligence agents from Kyiv recruited Russian military pilots in exchange for money and the promise of getting citizenship in one of the EU nations.
The Ukrainian officials also tried to convince them to land their aircraft at airfields under Ukrainian military control.
According to Russia's secret service, both the members of the Ukrainian special services who participated in this operation and their allies have been identified.
Christo Grozev, the executive director of the investigative journalism organization Belling cat (registered as a foreign agent in Russia), was a member of the hijack operation at the time, and the UK was a key aid to it, noted Moon of Alabama.
Through his coordinator, Grozev found two couriers who had met with a Moscow-based contact working for Ukrainian intelligence. Any pilot willing to hijack Russian combat planes would receive an advance payment of $4,000 from him, which he carried.
In a videotape that the FSB made public, NATO-Ukrainian Operatives attempted to persuade pilots by promising up to $2 million for a plane.
Additionally, they stated that the EU has been informed of the plan and will guarantee their protection if it succeeds.
The secret service further stated that a Ukrainian officer had revealed over the phone that many mobile air-defense systems were collected in Ukrainian cities.
According to earlier reports, the military alliance and US intelligence are working to help Ukraine overcome Russia, and its operatives are currently in Kyiv to halt the Russian juggernaut there.
As Ukrainian troops attempted to breach the Russian defense line in the Kherson region, news of the operation's failure broke.
Following the complete liberation of the LPR's territory earlier this month, Russian servicemen and Donbas militia are advancing as Ukraine's forces are being pushed out of the region of Donbas.
NATO Supervises Ukraine in Hijacking
The would-be defectors were required to deal with their fellow crew members, providing an even darker plot twist. The Tu-22M3 has four crew members, compared to the Su-34's two, citing RT.
According to one of the pilots who reported the plot, the co-pilot would be knocked out. But it's unclear if the others would be kept alive once the Ukrainians seized the plane.
According to the Ukrainians, the betrayed crew members will be kept safe and eventually traded for POWs. However, the Russian pilot voiced severe reservations about that.
It was suggested that Russian pilots administer Clophelin (Clonidine), a medication used to treat high blood pressure and other issues, to their fellow aviators to knock them unconscious and have a sedative effect.
Russia's FSB stopped NATO-Ukrainian operatives from bribing pilots of Russian combat planes that Ukraine and the west wanted to get and ultimately failed.
