The motorist accused with six charges of murder in connection with a catastrophic collision in Los Angeles that killed five people, including a pregnant lady, her baby, and her unborn child, has been charged with six counts of murder.
Nicole Lorraine Linton, a travel nurse from Houston, was charged with vehicular manslaughter on Monday and was ordered imprisoned without bail.

The 37-year-old did not enter a plea Monday during her first court appearance in a wheelchair. Prosecutors claim her Mercedes-Benz was traveling at 90 mph when it crashed into automobiles at a Windsor Hills crossroads last Thursday, setting several vehicles on fire.
A 23-year-old lady who was 8 1/2 months pregnant, her unborn child, her 11-month-old kid who was due to turn one, and her boyfriend were all killed in the same automobile. The identity of two more ladies slain remained unknown as of Tuesday. Linton faces up to 90 years to life in prison if convicted of all counts, KHOU 11 reported
According to the Los Angeles Times, Nicole Linton has been involved in 13 other accidents. Prosecutors claimed the earlier incidents included a 2020 injury accident that wrecked two vehicles, and Linton reportedly knew the risk she posed behind the wheel, according to the article.
The California Highway Patrol, which is handling the investigation into the crash, refused to furnish The Post with information about Linton's driving record on Tuesday. On Monday, Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón declined to address reporters' inquiries about the suspect's driving record, citing the ongoing investigation.
Halim Dhanidina, Linton's lawyer, stated in court that his client had a history of "deep mental health concerns" from out-of-state that might be tied to the crash, but would not explain. Prosecutors said Linton's Mercedes ran a red light at around 90 mph last Thursday, colliding with at least five other vehicles and setting at least three on fire in a congested junction in Windsor Hills, according to New York Post.

Nicole Linton Involved in Different Wreck
Linton was working at Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center, but she'd been brought there by AMN Healthcare, a travel nursing organization that sends qualified contractors where they're needed the most. During the COVID-19 pandemic, when healthcare personnel were in limited supply in the hardest-hit cities, it became a greatly relied-upon model.
She has been employed by two temporary nursing agencies, AMN and RN Network, since 2020. AMN Healthcare refused to comment on what type of background checks were completed when she was originally offered a job with them, despite mounting worry over why she was even able to maintain a position at the hospital with such a poor mental illness as her attorney detailed.
Linton formerly worked for General Motors as a sales manager. Then, in 2010, she began training to become a registered nurse. Her California nursing license is valid, and there are no active complaints or infractions noted by the California Department of Consumer Affairs.
She worked in both North Carolina and Maryland in 2020. She has been working between Atlanta and Los Angeles since October 2020. Prosecutors also stated in court that Linton was involved in 13 car accidents in Texas and California. The Daily Mail discovered documents for two accidents in Texas. The first occurred in 2013, and the second in 2016.
On both occasions, another motorist rear-ended her vehicle, and she was not held liable. According to the collision report from 2013, Linton did not move once the lights turned green. In the mishap, one individual was brought to the hospital. Linton's friends and relatives are refusing to comment on her mental health or the 'issues' her counsel claims she is experiencing.
She looked to be content with her job as a traveling nurse on social media. She resided in a nice area of Houston, Texas, and several of her Facebook images show her wearing high-end designer shoes. Her victims' relatives are perplexed. The father of one-year-old Alonzo Quintero, who died in the tragedy, Luis Quintero, complained on Facebook that the nurse's bond of $9 million was too low. The District Attorney's Office of Los Angeles County has not provided any more information on the case.
