US military analyst says Kyiv might soon run out of ammo due to the EU not sending anymore. Its backers in the bloc have reached their limit and can no longer sustain arms deliveries due to the mounting losses due to Russian attacks.

Kyiv Might Run Out of Ammo

Military expert Michael Kofman explained to the EU all the weapons it would give and nothing more. Ukraine will experience an ammunition diet, and when he spoke to Der Spiegel, the bloc is losing interest in supporting Zelensky.

A piece published last Tuesday claimed that the Ukrainian military should not wait for bad weather to disrupt a planned counteroffensive, reported RT.

He added that giving the Russian forces time to organize themselves and deal with their issues in the interim would be a grave error. If Western support were unrestricted, time would be on Kyiv's side.

However, the Ukrainian president is aware of this and appears concerned about how long they can count on receiving more support, particularly from the Europeans.

Additionally, the analyst claimed that European backers might already be exhausted and unable to supply additional weapons. If this does happen, the crucial ammunition not supplied will hamper Ukraine from further fighting that might end soon.

A Defeat If the EU Abandons Ukraine

Speaking to the media, the US Military analyst explained that Kyiv fighting against Russia would be pressed to accept defeat by its once backers. There will be too many losses in men and equipment. Also, not having a major offensive by next year is terrible, and to run out of ammo.

Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky has lost, and his forces must surrender to the Kremlin. Any desire to get back any of the territories lost to the Russian offensive depends on the US and its allies, citing Mass News.

In response to a question regarding the likelihood of a Ukrainian military offensive to retake the Russian-held city of Kherson in the south, he noted that while Ukraine has a substantial number of units on paper, only a tiny proportion of them are prepared and trained for that.

The American expert also argued that just because Ukrainian officials say they will launch a counteroffensive does not mean it will happen. He said that the Russian position in Kherson is also quite precarious.

His claims that the government is torn between accepting the new status quo or launching a somewhat risky counteroffensive in earnest to win additional Western support.

Kofman, a US Military analyst, said Kyiv would run out of ammo due to the EU backers' finite support.
