Rachel Snider: Terrell Owens' Wife of Two Weeks Hospitalized for Alleged Suicide Attempt

Terrell Owen's estranged wife was hospitalized after an apparent suicide attempt, TMZ reports. According to the site, Rachel Snider left the athlete and demanded for a divorce after only two weeks of marriage.

A few days after she left California and moved back to Texas, Snider was hospitalized. When a Twitter user asked her what happened she said she was "suffering a broken heart." Owens and Snider secretly got married on Jan. 23 at a courthouse in Newhall, Calif.

A source told TMZ that the ceremony was so low-key that the two didn't even exchange rings and darted in and out of the courthouse to avoid being detected. A source told Radar Online, that the couple married in front of one witness and they both wore blue. This was the first marriage for both.

It's not clear when things went wrong but two weeks after tying-the-knot with the former NFL player, Snider told TMZ that she was filing for divorce because she believed Owens was using her for her money.

"I felt in love... and now I feel betrayed and heartbroken," she said. "I really valued his love and friendship for five years. Out of the love in my heart, I tried to help him. We had a secret relationship for five years and I married him for love."

She claims that Owens married her so he could get $2 million loan for a house in Sherman Oaks, Calif. Owens, who also wanted the out of the marriage, and his rep denied the allegations.

"Money is not an issue for Terrell," his rep said.

"Come on, she's a postal worker," the rep said. "Do you really think she's the primary on the loan?"

Snider has been tweeting since the incident and on Sunday tweeted that she would never bash Owens and still loved him.

"I love Terrell always and forever. [He] is a wonderful, athlete, father, friend and brother in Christ. I will nvr regret saying I do," she tweeted.
