Following the assassination of Putin's guru's daughter, Russia has threatened the West with nuclear war and pledged to build bomb shelters.

Darya Dugina was murdered in a massive blast caused by a vehicle bomb that was largely assumed to be directed at her father, Alexander Dugin. Today, the man nicknamed Vladimir Putin's guru attended his daughter's burial and promised vengeance for the bomb that murdered the 30-year-old.

Russia Vows To Prepare Bomb Shelter Following Daria Dugina's Death

Alexander Dugin and his daughter were honored guests at the Zakharovo estate's Tradition family event and intended to leave together. According to sources, Dugin jumped into another car and unwittingly avoided the attempted assassination. Dugin, a Neo-Nazi mystic, has long advocated for an invasion of Ukraine and believes that Moscow has the right to govern all of Europe and Asia. Putin finally spoke out about the assassination yesterday, calling it a "terrible act."

According to the Daily Beast, the outraged Kremlin has now escalated the situation with the threat of nuclear war, fueled by the bombing. Gurulyov decried the country's lack of readiness and requested that immediate efforts be made to strengthen civil defense systems, especially the bomb shelter system.

In a frightening address, the former commander demanded that Russia's nuclear strategy be modified, claiming that the period of peace had passed. Olga Skabeeva, co-host of the official TV show 60 Minutes, accused the West and Ukraine of stoking the fires of nuclear war.

Russia's propaganda networks have also come up with a slew of hypotheses, including a purported worldwide conspiracy to attack "Putin's brain" daughter. On a state TV broadcast, military expert Igor Korotchenko accused Britain of being involved in an assassination plan.

Due to the failure of efforts to recruit volunteers within Russia, Dugina's murder is now being utilized to mobilize society. As a political analyst and editor of the pro-Putin newspaper United World International, the philosopher's daughter had become a prominent personality in her own right, The Sun reported.

US To Announce New Arms Package for Ukraine

Meanwhile, the US is scheduled to reveal a fresh $3 billion armament package for Kyiv on Wednesday, the six-month anniversary of the war in Ukraine. The cash will include contracts for drones, weaponry, and other ammunition, though according to Washington sources, some of the equipment may not appear on the frontlines for many years as part of a plan to safeguard Kyiv's long-term defense plans.

The United States' offer brings its overall support for Ukraine to about $12 billion, by far the highest among Ukraine's friends. According to the Kiel Institute, only Poland, Norway, and Baltic countries bordering Russia have spent more as a proportion of GDP.

Germany offered extra guns on Tuesday, with delivery scheduled for 2023. Russian officials seized Yevgeny Roizman, a lawmaker renowned for his criticism of the Kremlin and, more recently, of the military assault in Ukraine, according to Russia's TASS news agency on Wednesday.

Russia describes its operations in Ukraine as a "special military operation" to ensure its security, and officials have imprisoned several activists for referring to the conflict as a war or criticizing Russia's actions, as per The Telegraph via MSN.
