According to reports, the head of Israel's top intelligence agency has warned that the US is rushing into a dangerous nuclear agreement with Iran.

As reported by Times of Israel, Mossad head David Barnea stated in a recent meeting that the US is rushing into an agreement that is a falsehood, the arrangement is extremely negative for Israel and a strategic disaster.

Israel Urges West To Reject Iran Nuclear Deal

The existing agreement gives Iran freedom to collect the requisite nuclear material for a weapon while also offering financial incentives to Tehran that might assist the government spread terror through proxies, according to Fox News.

The Western countries set a red line, the Iranians disregard it, and the red line advances, according to Lapid at a news conference in Jerusalem. The developing agreement does not fulfill the conditions stated by President Biden himself: stopping Iran from becoming a nuclear power.

President Joe Biden has expressed a desire to resurrect the 2015 agreement, which gave sanctions relief in exchange for limits on Iran's nuclear development. The initial agreement fell apart after then-President Donald Trump withdrew from it in 2018 and reimposed sanctions, despite Israel's strong urging. It is unknown if the US and Iran would be able to strike a new agreement.

The Biden administration, however, is anticipated to comment on Iran's fresh offer in the coming days. With a deal on the horizon, Israel has increased its attempts to stymie it. Iran argues that its nuclear program is only for peaceful reasons, despite UN sanctions. According to academics and Western intelligence services, Iran had a well-organized military nuclear program until 2003, News Observer reported.

Israel has begun an all-out public relations campaign to derail the looming nuclear deal with Iran. Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid slammed the current accord, alleging that Iran had exploited the discussions.

He stated that the funds will be used to support more assaults against US sites in the Middle East, as well as to boost Hezbollah, Hamas, and Islamic Jihad. He also stated that any agreement reached would not bind Israel and that Israel will prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

For years, Israel has allegedly been behind the death of Iranian nuclear experts, and Israel and Iran have engaged in a fierce cyberwar against one other. Former Israeli intelligence officer Brigadier General Yossi Kuperwasser stated that Israel must go to whatever length to halt Iran, according to VOA News.

Israel Warns About Iran's Ability To Manufacture Nuclear Weapons

In recent years, and particularly in the last few weeks of discussions, Iran has repeatedly warned of its ability to manufacture nuclear weapons. Tehran, on the other hand, has long denied taking such a move, maintaining that its nuclear program is only for the nation's energy requirements.

Despite claiming harmless purposes, Tehran has enriched uranium to 60% purity, just shy of the 90% purity required for weapons-grade uranium. Amid current discussions, Israeli officials have privately pledged that Israel will prevent Iran from gaining nuclear weapons capability.

They have stated that if diplomacy fails, all options, including military force, are on the table to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. Tehran has pledged a crushing reaction to any Israeli strike in response to the leaders' warlike statements.

Josep Borrell, who has been organizing US-Iranian discussions, stated that he expected a US answer this week. On Monday, the EU's foreign policy leader stated that Iran has already provided a decent answer to the discussions.

US President Joe Biden has recently reviewed the discussions with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, French President Emmanuel Macron, and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, all of whom signed the original 2015 agreement, Express reported.
