The father of Lil Kim's baby decided to step forward and reveal himself to the world, E! News reports. New York rapper Mr. Papers has been retweeting and thanking fans for their congratulatory messages and the day after Lil Kim announced her pregnancy news, he Instagrammed a photo with the caption: "I heard everybody looking for me?????"
The 39-year-old "Lighters Up" rapper announced she was expecting her first child by walking the red carpet at New York Fashion Week proudly showing off her growing baby bump.
"I'm so excited! I'm a few months along, I can't wait to be a mom!" she told US Weekly. "I'm still going to work. I'm still going to be hardcore. The baby has made me even more of a beast!"
Lil Kim wasn't joking when she said she wasn't slowing down. After sitting front row at a fashion show, she performed "Lighters Up" again sharing her baby news with the audience.
"I'm a mom, but I can turn it up a little!" she announced rubbing her belly.
Lil Kim and Mr. Papers were first linked in 2012. She introduced him to her Twitter followers by posting a picture of them posing together with the caption "More from #ReturnoftheQueenTour rehearsals with my new Boyfriend. Lol!! Muahhh J !!!"
However, a few months later the couple had split.
"As of 2night me & Papers are officially over. No malice or bad blood. I'll see U guys soon. #12DaysofXmas."
Obviously, Mr. Papers and Lil Kim reconciled at some point. Last March, the two were seen together in the music video for Rihanna's "Pour It Up" remix where she was referring to him as her boyfriend again.
This is the first child for Lil Kim but her boyfriend does have a son from a previous relationship.
