Moscow reportedly carried a major strike on Ukrainian munitions as Russian forces attacked it. Destroyed in the attack are 45,000 tons in ammo stockpile located in Southern Ukraine, remarked the Russian Defense Ministry.

Kyiv Lost Ammunitions in Russian Attacks

According to the Russian Defense Ministry that it claimed on Monday, forces destroyed a large ammunition depot in southern Ukraine as they proceeded to undertake "high-precision strikes" on Ukraine's forces, reported RT.

The Ministry of Defense said the attack was on a large ammunition storage facility near the town of Voznesenski in the Nikolaev region. According to additional information, 300 Ukrainians were killed, and 1,000 were injured in the location in 24 hours, noted Opera News.

Based on the MoD, its forces also focused on Kyiv's military in the Kharkov region, where Russian forces recently backed away from several territories to regather amongst the Ukrainian offensive.

A statement declared that Moscow decided to carry out an attack on the nationalist unit Kraken, the 113th Brigade of Territorial Defense, as well as the 93rd Mechanized Brigade, massacring up to 250 service members and ruining more than 20 military vehicles, citing News Beezer.

Since launching its military offensive on February 24, Russia has repeatedly assaulted Ukrainian weapons caches in an attempt to eliminate Western-supplied Ukrainian munitions and weapons, all while significantly lowering Kyiv's overall military capacity.

The new attacks follow an evident advance of Ukrainian forces in the Kharkov region, with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky lauding the emancipation of 2,000 kilometers of land on Saturday.

In addition, Russia's Defense Ministry insinuated that Kyiv's five-day counterattack in the nation's east and south would have cost it more than 12,000 deaths and injuries.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is getting 24-hour updates on the events in Ukraine and Kremlin's military involvement there, according to Dmitry Peskov, press secretary, after being asked regarding Russian troops' decision to withdraw from certain places to reorganize.

The spokesman remarked everything that occurred and all measures taken by the armed services during the special operation in Ukraine are now being disclosed to the commander-in-chief.

Russian Forces Regroup

Peskov said Putin can communicate with Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu and Russian military commanders "at any time of day."

After Ukraine's successful attack last week, Russian journalists brought into question Peskov's statements regarding Putin's awareness and interactions with his commanders, mentioned Daiji World.

Kyiv's forces were able to drive Russian forces out of several settlements in the Kharkov region. The Russian Ministry of Defense made a few comments about the development, stating that a retreat was necessary to "regroup" the troops.

US Senator Mark Warner (D-Virginia), who served as chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, confirmed to CNN that the assault was planned with the guidance of the US and British intelligence community.

Giving an opinion regarding what the setback meant for the overall result of Russia's military campaign, Peskov reaffirmed that it would continue until the original objectives were achieved.

The official was responding to inquiries about a post on social media by former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, currently the deputy chair of Russia's national security council, which also seemed to indicate that Moscow could perhaps step up its actions in Ukraine.

Moscow says that Russian forces have pinpointed and destroyed Ukrainian munitions that will impact Kyiv.
