House Of Cards Fans Include President Barack Obama, Tweeted 'No Spoilers, Please'

Shortly after Netflix released the entire season two of "House of Cards," many fans who did not have plans of watching it on Friday asked for spoilers to be kept to a minimum, including President Barack Obama, the Associated Press reported.

President Obama tweeted: "No Spoilers, please" in reference to the long awaited premiere of the political drama, according to the AP.

The second season of the political thriller about a power-hungry Washington couple premiered in its entirety Friday on Netflix, the AP reported. Hundreds of thousands of fans pleaded with Netflix to release it a day early due to the snowstorm and even started a petition.

During the premiere event for season two on Thursday night, cast members reveled in the real-life president's support, according to the AP.

Robin Wright who plays Claire Underwood, wife of Kevin Spacey's vice president-to-be Frank Underwood, said President Obama "knows good stuff," the AP reported.

Kate Mara who plays the reporter Zoe Barnes and ex-mistress to Underwood, said Obama's tweet was "one of the coolest things" that's happened to her, according to the AP.

Mara added that the new 13-episode season is "just as dark as the first," the AP reported.
