Moscow aired its denial of another of Kyiv's accused war crimes, which have parallels in Bucha. Russia called out the lies of Kyiv that its troops committed those atrocities in the northeast of Ukraine.

War Crimes Is Another Lie Perpetrated by Ukraine

Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for the Kremlin, has repudiated Ukraine's claims that Russian troops have committed war crimes in regions of the Kharkov region that Kyiv a while ago annexed, reported RT.

He told it was a great lie when he addressed the media on Monday, claiming that it was a different Bucha and the same situation.

In a Reuters interview published on Friday, President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine contrasted the events, saying that Ukrainian troops allegedly observed the Kharkov province with a "bloody soap opera after Bucha."

Ukrainian and western governments and even human rights organizations accused Russia of guilt in Bucha close to Kyiv in April. But the Kremlin said they had nothing to do with it.

Kharkov region governor, Oleg Sinegubov, also revealed to journalists on Friday that some of the bodies exhumed in Kyiv's accused war crime Izyum had their hands tied behind their backs.

At a news conference later that day, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken mentioned that the mass grave was found in northeastern Ukraine; he blamed Russia without proof. Moscow added that Ukraine and its backers should prove alleged Kyiv's accused war crime done in Ukraine.

Donetsk Authorities Say Civilians Were Killed in Attacks

A bus stop in Donetsk was reportedly hit by an artillery shell, based on the most recent local media sources who cited eyewitnesses. Local authorities have reported that a Ukrainian howitzer strike on Donetsk city resulted in at least 13 civilians killed, mentioned the Press United.

Alexey Kulemzin, the head of the Donetsk city administration, wrote on Telegram on Monday that a punitive attack on Baku's Commissars Square had resulted in the deaths of 13 civilians thus far.

The official further stated that it is unknown at this time how many people were wounded in the attack. Later in the day, Kulemzin told Russia's Rossiya 24 news channel: Two children were among the killed, trying to add that it is not the first case of minors being killed by Ukrainian strikes in that neighborhood.

In response, the Donetsk People's Republic territorial defense asserted in a statement on their Telegram channel that the Ukrainian military had been using 155mm howitzers provided by the West to shell residential neighborhoods of Donetsk.

According to the authorities, infrastructure and apartment buildings allegedly were attacked in one of the city's districts. Residents in the vicinity have been implored to stay indoors or resettle "to shelters if absolutely needed."

The Donetsk Territorial Defense recently reported that six more people were killed in the shelling that lasted from Sunday night to Monday morning. Moscow called Kyiv's accused war crime that had parallels in earlier Bucha, where the Ukrainian army framed the Russian forces. It was not proven that Russians did commit the offense.
