Along with Prince Andrew and lesser royals, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been "demoted" to the bottom of the Royal Family's website.

The two are rumored to have formerly occupied a position halfway down the official website, above junior royals and below senior royals. The Sussexes now rank below other royals including Princess Alexandra and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester after the page was modified after the Queen's passing.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Suffer 'Demotion'

Additionally, The Telegraph says that non-working royals including Prince Michael of Kent and his wife Marie-Christine have been completely removed from the page. The change follows King Charles III's alleged plans to slim down the monarchy throughout his reign because the public does not want to foot the bill for a continuously growing Royal Family.

The Queen's relatives, Princess Alexandra, the Duke of Kent, and the Duke of Gloucester, are all still active members and continue to be listed on the website. About 15 months ago, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were shifted to the middle of the page.

To create room for the Wessexes and Princess Royal after Megxit, they were moved from their former location beneath the Prince and Princess of Wales and had been demoted. According to reports, the King is still debating what to call Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's children, who are now eligible for the titles Prince and Princess thanks to his accession.

The Queen's grandfather King George V created rules in 1917 stating that a sovereign's descendants automatically have the right to the titles HRH and prince or princess. Archie and Lilibet are now sixth and seventh in line, respectively, according to the Palace's new webpage, but their titles still read Master and Miss.

The demotivation happens at a time when Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are rumored to have left England the day after the Queen's funeral and returned to California without having settled their issues with King Charles III and Prince William, as per The Sun.

Prince Andrew Relegated to 'Dogwalker'

Meanwhile, a royal expert predicts that Prince Andrew could be permanently excluded from the Royal Family and have his primary responsibility restricted to caring for the Queen's corgis. Despite giving his shamed younger brother the go-ahead to dress in his Navy uniform in the lead-up to the Queen's official funeral, King Charles III reportedly sees no future for his brother in The Firm.

The Duke of York, 62, was forced to wear everyday clothing last Wednesday because he is no longer a working royal and had to accompany the procession of his late mother to Westminster Hall. Due to issues surrounding his association with Jeffrey Epstein and the alleged sexual abuse of Virginia Giuffre, all of which the Duke denies, the middle son of the late sovereign has been cast into the background.

In a Newsnight interview in 2019, he resisted saying he regretted his friendship with the millionaire pedophile and earlier this year, he paid millions to settle a civil sexual assault action with Giuffre, who he had previously claimed he had never met. It has been predicted that under King Charles III, Prince Andrew could be reduced to little more than the royal dogwalker-in-chief. Nigel Cawthorne, a royal expert, is aware that the Prince might only get a meager budget from the new King.

But Prince Andrew should soon forget about being a member of the Royal Family who interacts with the general population. The author emphasized that the Duke, who is frequently referred to as the Queen's favorite son, has a very limited role to play in the monarchy, Mirror reported.
