Former President Donald Trump worriedly inquired of his advisors whether Ghislaine Maxwell had mentioned him following her arrest in 2020 for soliciting underage females for Jeffrey Epstein.

Trump's curiosity was sparked by a New York Post piece published in July 2020 that stated Maxwell would identify names.

Trump, Maxwell, and Epstein Ties

In her best-selling book about Trump, Maggie Haberman of the New York Times says that the former president repeatedly prodded his aides, who were left in stunned silence. "She says anything about me? "a reference to the British socialite Trump used to go out with.

According to an anecdote in the new book 'Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America,' which comes out on Tuesday, Donald Trump was concerned that he would become involved in the Maxwell probe.

In her trial last year, Maxwell was convicted guilty and given a 20-year prison term. She never provided information to the defense or the prosecution about any of the well-known men she was acquainted with, including Donald Trump, who once referred to Epstein as a terrific guy.

According to Confidence Man, a Post report from July 2020 stated that Maxwell will collaborate with investigators to protect herself. A few weeks later, during a news conference at the White House, Trump was questioned about Maxwell's arrest. His response surprised the audience.

At the time, Maxwell was charged with helping Epstein abuse girls as young as 14 while also participating in the abuse. Donald Trump, Jeffrey Epstein, and Ghislaine Maxwell were all visible in an NBC film taken at Mar-a-Lago in 1992, demonstrating their prior familiarity with one another.

In the video, Ghislaine Maxwell can be seen in the background as the two men sneer at a group of cheerleaders who are dancing in front of them. Trump can be seen dancing with the cheerleaders for the Buffalo Bills in the video, smiling as one of them strains her neck to look at him.

Epstein, who is wearing a light denim shirt, is among the three visitors he is then seen heading to see. Alternating between dancing, chatting with Epstein, and pointing out the women, most of whom are wearing short skirts, the former President also points out the guys.

Donald Trump had just finalized his divorce from his first wife, Ivana, and was one year away from wedlock with Marla Maples when the tape was being made. Epstein admitted to recruiting a witness in 2008, as per Daily Mail.

Trump pressed his aides about Maxwell, who was then a prisoner being held by the Department of Justice when they responded by remaining silent. Maxwell was found guilty on five counts of sex trafficking in December 2021 despite never mentioning Trump in her defense during her trial in 2021, according to Independent.

Did Jeffrey Epstein's Representative Signed Off Trump's Mar-a-Lago Search?

Meanwhile, US Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart authorized FBI agents to investigate Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago home in early August as part of a federal investigation into whether the former president improperly removed secret papers from the White House.

Many people utilized social media sites in the days and weeks following the search to spread accurate and inaccurate information about the people involved. In ten days, a Facebook post from September 17 claimed Reinhart had previously defended Jeffery Epstein, the infamous businessman accused of sex trafficking.

If you believe that the fact that Jeffrey Epstein's attorney later became a federal judge and that exact judge, out of thousands of judges, approved the Mar-a-Lago search warrant by chance, you haven't been paying attention, the article states.

Reinhart, the magistrate who authorized the FBI's investigation of Mar-a-Lago, was not a former Epstein attorney. But he did, represent several Epstein associates, USA Today reported.
