Chris Brown: California Man Sues ‘Love More’ Singer for Attacking Him at Basketball Game

Chris Brown has been slapped with another lawsuit after a California man accused the singer and three members of his entourage for attacking him. Malcolm Ausbon claims in a lawsuit that Brown and three other men jumped him at 24 Hour Fitness in North Hollywood on July 29 because the singer disagreed with a foul he called, the New York Daily News reports.

Ausbon's lawyer said that his client was taken to the emergency after the alleged attack and police never followed up on the case. The lawsuit states that the 24-year-old singer wouldn't acknowledge a foul called him and Ausbon "expressed dissatisfaction."

Brown reportedly told Ausbon that he was a member of the Bloods, referring to the street gang. The alleged victim claims he started to back away when three men with Brown approached him and said "If you f**k with Chris, you f** with us."

The four men then allegedly proceeded to attack and beat Ausbon. In the lawsuit he said the guys began to "strike, punch, kick, pull and stomp" on his head and body. Reportedly he was taken to the hospital with a fractured rib and other cuts and bruises.

"He was jumped, beaten and dazed, and at some point my client made a police report about the incident and is waiting for police follow-up. Police never followed up," his lawyer Stephen Wegman told The News.

"Imagine going to play a game of basketball, and you get jumped by four guys because you call a foul," he continued. "This isn't for fame or fortune. He's got medical bills and issues as a result of some famous guy thinking he's above the law."

Ausbon is suing the "Love More" singer, the other three men involved and the fitness center for unspecified damages including assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence.

Wegman said he tried to settle the dispute with Brown and his team in private but Brown's camp "didn't want to communicate anymore."

"If Chris Brown isn't willing to compensate [Ausbon] for what he did to him, I'm not going to back down. It will be for a jury to decide," he said.

According to Ausbon he now suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, distorted vision, dizziness, nervousness, embarrassment, fear and anxiety.
