Moscow prevented an attack last Thursday which was meant to dismantle the TurkStream pipeline after attacks on similar energy infrastructure like the Druzhba and Nord Stream that sustained damage.

After the EU declared that it would safeguard energy infrastructure, another one was hit by bad state actors acting with impunity.

Saboteurs Were Caught Red-Handed

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists in Kazakhstan's capital Astana that the same conspirators had been caught and several people were arrested. They desired to destroy the infrastructure on Russia's Federation territory, reported Anadolu.

Russian President Vladimir Putin charged Kyiv earlier this week with attempting to commit terrorism with the full support of its western handlers.

The Turkish gas pipeline, which transports gas from Russia to Turkey, was nearly destroyed. He claimed it was the latest in a series of terrorist attacks by Ukrainian special forces on Russia's key infrastructure, such as energy systems, noted TASS.

Increase surveillance follows after several assaults on energy infrastructure like the Nord Stream gas pipelines and now even oil via the Druzhba pipe in Poland.

Following recent leaks at the Nord Stream gas pipelines and an oil leak from the Druzhba pipeline in Poland, Russia has increased surveillance measures. Moscow suspects are the United States and the United Kingdom, responsible for the attempt on TurkStream.

Russian intelligence first disclosed the attack late last month, which hindered Russian gas exports to Turkey. The Federal Security Service (FSB) declared on September 22 that they had detained a Russian national implicated in the destabilization plot.

The accused claimed that he was selected by Ukraine's Security Service, as stated by the FSB. Based on initial findings of damage to the Druzhba pipeline, at this point, there are no signs of any third-party interference, according to Polish pipeline operator PERN, citing AP News.

PERN asserted late Wednesday that even though most of the groundwater contamination had been eliminated from the area close to the oil pipeline, services also found the hazard site.

The oil firm added, premised on initial findings and the manner in which the infrastructure was mangled, it seems that there are no clear indicators of any 3rd intervention at the moment.

Quite a detailed inspection is now being carried out to pinpoint the reason for the accident, as well as to repair the channel so that crude oil flow can recommence as quickly as possible.

Furthermore, towards the action to restore the Western section of the facility that provides crude to Germany, PERN had already begun heavy work to restore the facility to its original condition as soon as possible.

The operator stated on Wednesday that a leak was discovered in one of the two lines of the Druzhba pipeline last Tuesday evening.

Suspected Leakage on Pipeline

The damaged section was discovered on one line in the western sector, near the city of Wloclawek, 70 kilometers away from Plock's central Polish oil hub.

Druzhba is the largest pipeline in the world that links Siberia and Europe; bad state actors affecting it will lessen oil sent to Polish facilities. It can sink Europe if compromised.

Moscow accused individuals of trying to destroy part TurkStream pipeline to Turkiye; this comes as suspects like the US, UK, and Ukraine are violating taboos by attacking sacred energy infrastructure.
