Panic struck a United Airlines jet when a slithering snake stowed away on the flight last Monday. The flight originating from Tampa, Florida, landing in New Jersey, had the passengers panicked and broke into screams when the snake was sighted.

An unruly human usually disrupts rare incidents on a flight, but not at this time, as a snake is a cause now. The UA flight 2038 was disrupted by an unusual occurrence that would make that startled passengers.

In part thanks to this, the port authorities of New York and New Jersey disclosed in a statement that representatives from the port authority police department and the airport's wildlife operations staff met at the entrance of the United Flight 2038 and got the "garter snake."

The Washington Post noted that after capturing the stowaway animal and sending it back to the wilderness, they added that no one was hurt during the fiasco.

UA flight added that the staff took action when the passengers informed the team, who acted on it as soon as possible. The relevant authorities were reached to deal with the situation, mentioned NDTV.

When the plane positioned itself at the gate, said a Port Authority representative, officers promptly entered the plane and got the snake from inside. But one question is how the slithering reptile found its way into the plane, asked another outlet.
