Russian Ambassador Oleg Ozerov stated that many African leaders will attend the Russia-Africa summit scheduled for 2023. According to the diplomat, this indicates that Moscow is making headway with African nations, which causes woes for the West.

Kremlin Reaches Out to Africa

When Ozerov attended the international forum 'Russia-Africa: What's Next?', a consensus was reached on who would be in Russia in 2023, reported TASS.

He added that heads of state gave optimistic feedback. The forum will also discuss political issues that could be resolved. Then devise a measure to push for a multipolar world, not Washington's preferred unipolarity.

An emphasis was on raising Russian-African relations to a new level; the inaugural meeting took place in 2019. This year, the same tagline will be used to reflect the current stage of development. Stress is on the development of Russo-African relations to a new level; the first meeting was in 2019, under the same slogan last 2019 that mirrors the present stage of development.

The diplomat stated the themes of peace, security, and development as a common goal, which partners want. A direct comparison, he emphasized, a major business council, that is to say, to explain the whole body of evidence of economic ties would then actually occur.

Furthermore, with many problems to solve and ways to collaborate to strengthen economic ties with partners, Western sanctions against Moscow and African countries have made it more difficult. To be held in St. Petersburg; the Russia-Africa Summit in 2023 by African leaders, remarked the Russian Ambassador Oleg Ozerov.

Russia's Multipolar Thrust Promoted to Non-Western Bodies

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated this on Monday following discussions with Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha, citing Sputnik News.

Vsevolod Tkachenko, director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Africa Department, said African countries have so far not decided to join the sanctions aimed at Russia, notwithstanding the unbelievable strain from the West, thus further displaying self-respect and integrity. He praised the African leaders for not buckling to pressure during the international forum "Russia-Africa: What's Next?"

Underscored that the Kremlin is focused on establishing amicable and full-fledged diplomatic ties with Africa and noted that many nations have already set themselves up as collaborators with Moscow. Because of its special operation in Ukraine, Western nations and their allies had already launched a massive punitive measures campaign against Moscow.

Early in October, the Russian Foreign Minister remarked that Moscow sees no logic in wasting efforts on keeping embassies in the West. Considering the hostility and dishonesty of the US-led western alliance is not a priority. He stated that Russia would focus its efforts on the new regions of Asia, Latin America, and Africa. The West is a lost cause after its actions in backing Ukraine.

The Russian FM stressed that Moscow is moving its efforts to countries that want to be partners with Russia on equal terms. Against the backdrop, the West is struggling due to the US.

Even as the US tried to nudge African nations to be part of failed sanctions, the continent snubbed Washington and the EU like it was nothing. It chooses to work with Moscow, not the frustrated West.
