'Craigslist Killer,' 19-Year-Old Miranda Barbour, Admits To 'At Least 22 Murders' Nationwide

A 19-year-old newlywed from Pennsylvania accused of meeting a man through Craigslist and stabbing him to death with her husband recently told a local newspaper that she killed "at least 22 people" across the country, the New York Daily News reported.

During her interview from jail with the Daily Item, Miranda Barbour told a reporter on Friday that she "stopped counting" after she hit 22 murders.

"I can pinpoint on a map where you can find them," she said. "I remember everything. It is like watching a movie."

Barbour and her husband, Elytte, 22, are charged with killing 42-year-old Troy LaFerrara on Nov. 11 in what prosecutors labeled a "thrill kill," marking their three-week wedding anniversary.

On her Craigslist advertisement, Barbour offered "companionship" and eventually connected with LaFerrara, who met her in a mall parking lot before driving somewhere in Sunbury, Pa.

According to prosecutors, Elytte hid in the backseat of the car and soon jumped out and began choking LaFerrera with an electrical cord. Barbour then stabbed him 20 times. The next day, his body was discovered in an alley.

Though she initially claimed she stabbed him out of self-defense, she admitted on Friday that she was responsible for his death.

"I can tell you he was not supposed to be stabbed," Barbour said. "My husband was just supposed to strangle him."

Additionally, she admitted that LaFerrara's death resulted from her involvement with a satanic cult she joined in Alaska at age 13.

The cult's leader allowed Barbour to come with him to kill someone who owed him money. After he shot the man, he handed the gun to Barbour to finish the killing.

"I couldn't do it, so he came behind me and he took his hands and put them on top of mine and we pulled the trigger," she said. "And then from there I just continued to kill."
