The Elon Musk Twitter takeover has a new feature on the platform that has the White House in a panic, causing it to delete tweets. An addition of context allows a correction called awesome by the Chief of Twitter, but not for liberals to go wild over it.
White House on Edge with New Feature on Twitter
As a response to the new context feature, a tweet concerning US pensioners getting more in social security after a decade made it possible for users to react to it, reported in the Hindustan Times.
The tweet deletion was about the biggest benefit for senior citizens from President Biden and was allegedly done to avoid embarrassing corrections by users. But many users beat them to it; they contended that the boost was due to a mechanism first used in 1972.
Written in the note to correct Biden's claim that the considerable Social Security benefits increased under his leadership due to the annual cost of living adjustment that is dependent on the inflation rate. It was then President Richard Nixon, in 1972, who signed the law tied to the consumer price index.
When asked by the press corps why the tweet was deleted, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said it had no context, noted the Daily Wire.
Such an addition to the program is a component of the platforms' Birdwatch program after the Twitter takeover, which allows users to comment freely, avoid censorship, and allow all opinions.
Elon Musk, who got the social media platform a week ago, called a new feature on the platform called the community notes to feature relevant, though it makes liberals cringe. Unlike before, it aims to make Twitter a precise portal and embraces all political spectrums.
Twitter Takeover Threaten Liberal Dominance
Spike Cohen, the Libertarian Party's nominee for US vice president in 2020, made an ironic tweet heralding the new Twitter and referring to the new CEO, who answered all is working.
Musk would change the social media firm and free the Bird after parties had suppressed free speech. The once influential persons in Twitter's Trust and Safety organization have no more access.
No altering or sanctioning accounts is supposed to break the rules and mislead, as the claim says, covered by offensive posts or anything divisive, depending on their viewpoint.
There are exceptions, which are the most impactful violations that concern real-world work done manually. Elon gets to jab at Democrat AOC over the blue tick fee with Gusto
Twitter Chief Executive Elon Musk and US politician Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (Democrat) quarreled online over the plan to charge $8 as a new fee should users want verified profiles.
Twitter's chief seemingly stays oblivious just as condemnation over the microblogging site's official statement to start charging $8 a month for "blue-tick" validation keeps going.
Last Wednesday, Democrat AOC went on the platform to mock the Tesla founder for returning free speech on the social media platform after becoming its owner.
He let the Democrat rant at him for charging a measly $8 for a month, but the congresswoman wouldn't escape witty comebacks. He answered that the input was accepted and to fork over $8, and asked for the monthly fee.
After the Twitter takeover, Elon Musk allowed a new feature on the platform that caused an uneasy White House to avoid getting corrected.
