The father of one of the murdered Idaho students said that the police have not reported any potential slay suspects from thanksgiving.

The multiple homicides of four Idaho University students should be a concern for the police investigation, according to the dad. Still, the police were wary of releasing the information as it could cause undue panic in the local community.

Parent of Murdered Idaho Student Voices Disappointment

Steve Gonclaves, the father of one of the victims, told Fox News last Saturday that they just came from a vacation in a Youtube video.

He added, "Law enforcement told me that they were going to drop off a little bit and not to expect the same type of communication that I had gotten before to pass it on to another person."

It was Wednesday when the cops talked to him, and that would be the end, which was annoying. Goncalves disapproved of not getting updates regarding the murder.

His daughter Kaylee, 20, was one of several students who were knifed cruelly by the killer. Other victims were Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20; they all died on November 13 while staying in their off-campus residence in Moscow, Idaho, reported the NY Post.

Kaylee's father remarked that updates were obtained from the police authorities, but most of the news did not have assurance. Remarked that most of the messages regarding his daughter's murder were not a lot; it grated that cops weren't keen on telling him news because he could be trusted with info.

Police Withholds Information on Idaho Stabbing Suspect

The cops don't want to deal with panic by carelessly releasing information as the case is still not solved.

Idaho State Police communications director Aaron Snell spoke to Fox News, saying if the killer's profile were released into the local community, it would create fear and suspicion, with many people focusing their probe of the quad murders. The police director explained that giving random information to the public would not be very smart despite demands to release it.

The Goncalves family has been helping the police to help solve the murder probe. Furthermore, Kaylee's dad explained that it took time to break the timeline. Also, getting the information from the phones; and did everything to try to know more about what happened. But despite all the family's efforts to get substantive information, the police have no one to suspect as the killer. Many perps have been crossed out.

Officials have still not discovered the murder weapon, which they assume to be a fixed-blade knife, but have not decided on a reason for the slayings, citing 6BAC.

The father says that some things need to be shared with the investigators, stressing that he sleuthed the information himself too. He explained that they told him to keep the info for the meantime.

Gonclaves later added that they would wait but were very concerned about the case, but the police should share potential slay suspects as the case develops, not withhold it.
