Moldova will not get its natural gas supply cut as it passes Ukraine, which the Russian state energy firm Gazprom made clear in an announcement. This came as the country's gas firm was all paid up last November, compared to the bloc, which is suffering from an acute gas shortage.

Moldova Retains Its Natural Gas Supply

A Moldovan company called Moldovagaz has removed a violation of payment for the current gas load in November. Funds given to Ukraine's territory that will be pumped to Chișinău have been received by the Russian energy provider, reported Anadolu.

Based on the payment given by the Moldovan firm, the supply will be complete as it will go through the Sudzha GIS (gas measuring station) on the way to Chișinău.

The state gas firm had focused on the regular violation its client committed on its obligatory actions on the agreement to receive these crucial gas supplies. Stressed that the firm can halt or lessen the agreed supply at any time if there is an irregularity of payment made, noted STLToday.

One week ago, Gazprom mentioned the backlog of all natural gas passing thru Ukraine for Moldova would be less if nothing is done to remedy the situation.

Gazprom Supplies Affected by Weapon Strikes in Ukraine

Last Wednesday, President Maia Sandu stated that Moscow had left them in the dark. The reason is that widespread and sporadic blackouts came from the bombardment of Ukrainian targets.

On May 10, reports that Ukraine had stopped shipments heading to the Sokhranivka distribution point, an access point for one-third of gas supplies going to Europe. It left the Sudzha point as the only gateway to let Russian supplies flow through.

Moldova's President Says Moscow Caused Power Problems

In Chișinău, Moldovan President Sandu criticized Russia last Wednesday that the country is experiencing power outages caused by the military conflict in Ukraine.

She posted on Facebook a terse rebuke of how Moscow has caused the unsavory energy situation in the country. The current Ukrainian conflict engaged by Russia has many casualties, including the devastation of structures and energy complexes with numerous rocket attacks, citing A News.

But Moldovan state agencies are trying to restore power immediately, despite the problems in Ukraine.

Sandu added that the Moldovans could not trust Moscow, whose activities are causing brownouts and cold, allegedly attacking Ukrainians to keep them down.

In light of this wherein, no matter how hard it could be, one way for the future of the Moldovan Republic is to stay with the free world.

Foreign Minister Nicu Popescu verified these power outages on Twitter

He posted on social media that the Russian assault on Ukraine's power grid has left the country dark. Include widespread blackouts in including Chisinau and the @MoldovaMFA building.

The Moldovan FM said the Russian diplomat was called to explain what was happening.

According to the Russian firm on Monday, there is a backlog of all gas shipments through Ukraine destined for Chisinau. If it continues, a reduction will be affected on November 28. An ongoing campaign by Moscow using missiles and drones to hit mostly energy structures.

Moldova will get its natural gas shipments assured Gazprom, but the current assault on the Ukraine power grid is affecting the transport.
