Jason David Frank, a star of the 'Power Rangers,' committed suicide, according to his wife.
The actor passed tragically on November 19 while the two were on a weekend getaway, and Tammie Frank claims she was "harassed online" in the weeks that followed. She felt the need to clarify the situation because of this.
Jason David Frank Died While on Brief Vacation
Tammie revealed that Frank and his wife had taken the weekend break after deciding to patch things up. Despite getting married in 2003, the couple opted to separate after a family member passed away. For their weekend getaway, the two reserved separate hotel rooms, which Tammie stated was typical because Jason snored, as per Fox News.
According to The Independent, after agreeing to halt their marital separation and restore their relationship, Tammie claims that Jason David Frank passed away while they were on a brief vacation together. Tammie and Jason had "a passionate and emotional talk" when they got back to their hotel following a night of dancing. Tammie thanked the crowd for their support before asking for some alone to process her loss.
For his part as Tommy Oliver, the first Green Power Ranger, in the 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' TV series, Jason David Frank was well-known to many fans. His manager, Justine Hunt, revealed in a statement at the time that he passed away last month at the age of 49, according to NBC News.
Jason David Frank was the one who discovered Shayla after she had passed away, which caused him great emotional pain. But six weeks ago, they made the decision to get back together, with the assistance of a family member. For his two-night getaway, Frank decided to go to a country dancing show.
"We danced and stayed out until the bar closed at the event, and when we came back to the hotel, Jason and I were having a sincere and emotional chat in his room," Tammie said, because of Jason's snoring.
Jason David Frank's Last Moment With Wife Tammie
Tammie went downstairs to buy them both some snacks from the lobby in an effort to "relax and sober up" Frank before going to bed, not realizing those would be his final moments.
She described the tragic events that ensued as follows: "I went upstairs and started knocking on the door, but there was no response. I must have been gone for no longer than 10 minutes. I repeatedly knocked on the door while begging for him to answer by name."
"I'm not sure who contacted the police-the hotel employees or a guest-but once the police took me downstairs, they were able to open the door and discover that Jason had killed himself," Tammie revealed.
Hunter, Jacob, Skye, Jenna, and Tammie, Jason's daughters and sons, are all still surviving. Tammie has asked that people respect her family's privacy, Mirror reported.
