With the publication of the teaser for their Netflix series, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are accused of ruining the holiday for the royal family. According to reports, King Charles III no longer wants them to spend Christmas in Sandringham.

A source told Life & Style magazine for its December 12 issue that the teaser came just in time to ruin the holidays for the family and that they are "preparing for the worst-case scenario.

King Charles Changes Christmas Plans

This could end up being the Christmas from hell - tensions are higher than ever." The British royals are reportedly bracing for any damaging revelations from the docuseries titled 'Harry & Meghan.'

It is thought that King Charles anticipated a Christmas family gathering would provide a chance for reconciliation and mending of strained ties in the aftermath of Queen Elizabeth II's passing in September.

The queen had originally invited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to a Christmas dinner with the royal family at Sandringham. However, that was before Netflix unveiled the 'Harry & Meghan' teaser last week. While Prince William and Kate Middleton were in Boston for the Earthshot Prize honors, the streaming behemoth unveiled the trailer for the documentary.

The 'Harry & Meghan' trailer included never-before-seen images of the pair during their time as working royals as well as personal photographs of them. Even Kate Middleton and Prince William might be seen in the video. King Charles and Queen consort Camilla are "not worried but weary" of the royal pair, a royal insider told Daily Mail. It is quite exhausting, the insider said again, emphasizing the toll it has had on the monarch and his wife.

The insider went on to say that the pair has received several invitations from the Royal Family and that they have made "splendid and very purposeful efforts" to include them as much as possible during the Queen's burial.

The source went on to say that as an additional gesture of the Royal Family's extended courtesies and privileges to the couple, they even asked the Duke of Sussex whether he wanted to wear his military uniform for a significant vigil during the burial services.

Prince William's Response to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Netflix Trailer

While the Prince and Princess of Wales are much more at ease, the King and Queen have had a "weary" reaction to this news. According to the source, Catherine and William are "sanguine" and unconcerned about the conflict between the publication of their trailer and their Boston visit.

Meanwhile, Prince William is prepared to "hit back any wild claims," according to sources close to him, that may or may not surface once the episodes air. According to the Daily Mail, the royals' common tactic is to "never complain, never explain," thus this stands in sharp contrast.

Staffers at Buckingham Palace told a newspaper that Prince William is ready to speak out against anything that would damage the good name of his family.

The announcement contrasts sharply with the way Buckingham Palace handled Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021. Insiders reportedly viewed the interview as being full of "explosive statements from the Sussexes" at the time, and they held off on voicing any form of criticism for two days.

According to royal sources, Kate Middleton and Prince William were "shocked, but not surprised" that the teaser debuted when they were in Boston to celebrate the 2022 Earthshot Prize. They are reportedly ready for the new Netflix series to be "Oprah with more crying."
