The Russian military has placed a Yars ballistic missile into a silo launcher located at the Kaluga region as it showcases its strategic nuclear deterrent leading to Russia's "Strategic Missile Force Day" observance.

According to a report from the Russian news agency TASS, the Russian Defense Ministry noted that the "loading" of the Yars intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) by the "Kozelk missile formation" was part of "the run-up to the Strategic Missile Force Day."

Alexei Sokolov, Commander of the Kozelsky missile formation, said that the importance of the operation indicates that the missile will be on combat duty as planned as "The Motherland" obtains Russia Nuclear weapon supplies that will allow Russian forces to "solve any tasks at the strategic level," per a report from CNN.

Media reports say that Russian President Vladimir Putin has reestablished Russia's nuclear might by preparing a strategic missile capable of striking the United States or any place in Europe.

Way More Powerful Than Atom Bomb That US Dropped on Japan

The defense ministry broadcast a video depicting an ICBM atop a silo launcher as a warning to the West, as reported by the Russian daily Komsomolskaya Pravda, which the news company cited.

The Russia Nuclear weapon was reported "12 times more powerful" than the US atomic bomb that "destroyed" the Japanese city of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945, Newsweek reported.

The Yars ICBM's launch weight is 46,000 tons, its operating range can reach up to 12,000 kilometers (7,456 miles), and it can deliver a payload of up to 500 kilotons, per the report.

A specialized transporter-loader was used to complete the time-consuming procedure, which took many hours.

Yars is an upgraded model of the Topol-M missile system. When the Strategic Missile Force approved the Yars launcher for experimental combat service in 2009, Russia started fielding Yars intercontinental ballistic missile systems, per NDTV.

Putin Claims Russia's Weapons Can Wipe Out Its Enemies

According to Fox News, Vladimir Putin grabbed the world's attention on December 9 when he said Russia would react with "hundreds" of warheads if even a single missile crossed into Russian territory.

Vladimir Putin, speaking at a meeting in Kyrgyzstan, was quoted as saying, "I tell you that when the early warning system gets a signal of a missile assault, "hundreds of our missiles are in the air," which will be "impossible" for adversaries to stop and "there will be nothing left of the enemy."

"This, of course, is a deterrent-a serious deterrent," the Russian head of state added.

Sputnik estimates that Russia has 5,977 nuclear warheads at its disposal at the moment, with just 1,426 actually in use. The 513 delivery vehicles now in use by the government comprise a wide variety of cutting-edge weapons systems such as ICBMs, strategic bombers, nuclear-powered submarines, and hypersonic glide devices.

Moscow's disclosure of its new intercontinental missile system and Russia Nuclear weapon follows news that the United States is completing preparations to provide a sophisticated long-range air defense system to Ukraine in response to Russian aggression.

Ukraine suffers from a barrage of Russian missiles and drone assaults that have devastated important infrastructure throughout the nation, prompting to appeal to the United States to deliver the latest long-range air defense system that is highly adept at stopping ballistic and cruise missiles in the Russia Ukraine war.
