Last week, medical officials gave hopeful news to his many followers by saying that his health has been steadily improving. The hospital added that he is still confined in a standard room, alert and in good health.

Pele's Family Dismissed Rumors
On Saturday, it was reported in the newspaper Folha de S. Paulo that Pelé's treatment is ineffective and that physicians have opted to transition him to palliative care, according to AP News. In response, Pelé's loved ones have flatly dismissed the story on Pele health.
With 77 goals in his career, Pelé helped lead Brazil to World Cup victories in 1958, 1962, and 1970. During the most recent World Cup, Neymar tied Pelé's record for the most goals scored by a player.
Throughout the Qatar competition, which Argentina won on Sunday, many tributes and get-well-soon wishes were expressed for the former player.
Various tributes made to the three-time World Cup champion during the most recent event in Qatar sparked fears that he was dying. His daughter denied such rumors and said that the football legend continued to show support for Brazil despite Pele health condition, as per a report from The Mirror.
When Brazil got eliminated by Croatia in the World Cup quarterfinals, he posted a photo of Neymar on Instagram with a message: "I saw you grow, I cheered for you every day and I can finally congratulate you for reaching my number of goals with Brazil."
