In the video, a man convicted to life in prison in the United Kingdom on Wednesday for the deaths of three children and his pregnant partner admits calmly, "I've murdered four people."
On Wednesday, Damien Bendall pled guilty to rape and four charges of murder in Derby Crown Court, according to a statement from Derbyshire Police. On September 19, 2021, he acknowledged raping and killing 11-year-old Lacey Bennett, Fox News reported.

Bendall is also accused of killing her 13-year-old brother John Paul Bennett, the brothers' mother and Bendall's pregnant boyfriend, 35-year-old Terri Harris, and the girl's 11-year-old friend Connie Gent at Killamarsh, a town and civil parish in North East Derbyshire, England.
Bendall informed investigators at the Ripley police station, "I used a hammer," and boasted, "I bet you don't typically get four murders in Killamarsh - actually, five, since my wife was carrying a baby."
He allegedly stated that after the murders, he seized the boy's game system and sold it for drug money before coming home and calling the police.
For his horrifying acts, Bendall has been sentenced to life in prison, meaning he will perish behind bars. The court heard how, on the evening of September 19, 2021, the monster walked through the house, slaughtering his innocent victims with a claw hammer.
Just hours before, Lacey and Connie were pictured while campaigning for a cancer charity, where they were last seen alive. The court also heard how the terrible murderer contacted the police to inform them that he had murdered four people, before meeting them outside the residence to request a cigarette.
Today, footage of the hours after his murder of his pregnant partner and three children was shown in court. The police have now revealed parts of it.
Per The Sun, it depicted Bendall walking in the darkness following the "brutal and savage attacks." In the hours following the murders, Bendall removed John's Xbox from his bedroom, phoned a taxi, and exchanged it for cocaine.
In the wee hours of the next morning, surveillance cameras showed him strolling the streets and entering and exiting the taxi. The court heard that he informed the taxi driver that his night was "not too horrible, a little crazy."
Damien Bendall Probation Classified as 'Medium Risk'
Bendall then informed the taxi driver that he had been "basically just hanging with relatives." The following morning at around 7:00 a.m., he called his mother before heading to the neighborhood store to purchase tobacco.
Blood-splattered coins can be seen in Bendall's hands as he rummages through coins on the store's surveillance footage. He then offers the store clerk a kind grin before returning home. Prosecutor Louis Mably KC told the court: "At 7.26 a.m., the defendant's mother contacted the police requesting aid for her son, stating that he had self-inflicted a knife wound."
After the ex-convict was given a life sentence for the killings on Wednesday, Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab urged the Chief Inspector of Probation to review Bendall's court documents. Bendall, 32, was already on probation for crimes of arson, robbery, attempted robbery, and serious bodily injury. He was serving a 24-month suspended sentence for arson at the time he committed the murders.
According to the Daily Telegraph, the probation officer who evaluated his criminal history for sentencing purposes in the arson case has now been fired. According to the newspaper, the probation officer was found guilty of gross misconduct after incorrectly classifying Bendall as "medium risk" rather than "high risk." A second probation officer was also found guilty of misconduct for assigning Bendall's case to a trainee afterward.
