Several weeks after the events in the Idaho murder houses, more creepy details are revealed by a former occupant.

Idaho Murder House Has Eerie Layout

The deaths of students Ethan Chapin, 20, Xana Kernodle, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, and Kaylee Goncalves, 21, in the off-campus house for more than a month have more revelation.

Even now, the police have no leads who stabbed all the university students to death but are seeing more nuances to the case, reported in Express UK.

A former tenant where the Idaho University students were massacred spoke to Fox News last Thursday, saying in the old home where footsteps can be easily heard. Cole Alteneder called it a creaky and old house, graduating in 2022 and staying at 1122 King Road his junior year. It gave a hint that the unknown killer decided to murder the students sleeping in the second and third-floor rooms when the two female housemates were asleep on the first level of the house.

The victims, Goncalves, Mogen, Kernodle, and Chapin, were all knifed to death in their rooms from 3 to 4 a.m. on November 13.

On each floor with two bedrooms and a bathroom, Alteneder took the room on the second floor while leaving. He added that the occupant on the lower floor could hear him moving about. He added that his desk and rolling chair were always heard of. In addition, the house was poorly insulated, with a ventilation system that caught voices anywhere.

Those who lived there could ignore the noises and block them sooner. However, they remarked that someone who stayed on the first floor could not hear anything at all because of the odd house layout.

Creepy Details Give Light to Murder Case

Alteneder commented that it was mentioned that the one in the first-floor bedroom under the living room and the living room was unused, citing Yahoo.

The former student said that the neighborhood was always busy with something happening there. Idaho University Greek societies were staying close to this location.

A prior report disclosed that ten weeks earlier, the police were sent to the address because there was a loud party. Based on the body cam footage when they checked, six students living there were not at home. The body cam video shows a loud noise complaint at the off-campus student home, told in early September.

Investigators are not losing any leads, and this occurrence before murders and police checks could be part of it. Officers answering the call tried to chat with the residents and young adults exiting the murder house. The neighbors who complained of loud noise and parties in the residence dubbed the party house.

Until this point in the probe, the authorities talked with one of the murdered students on the phone. It was found that different groups of young people were in the place during the week. Altenader met Mogen, one of those killed. The two had several classes but not personal acquaintances.
