A few weeks after the four murders, the father of the University of Idaho murder suspect went from Pennsylvania to Washington to accompany his son on a cross-country road trip.

Bryan Kohberger, a 28-year-old PhD student at Washington State University in Pullman, did not undertake the 2,000-mile trek back to his family home alone, according to his public defender.

Bryan Kohberger Was Accompanied by His Father

Kohberger was sighted with his father in the white Hyundai Elantra that police were searching for, including on December 16 at a vehicle repair shop in Pennsylvania.

Friday marked the end of a month-long manhunt for the murderer responsible for the horrible killings of Ethan Chapin, 20, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Madison Mogen, 21.

On the night of the killings, surveillance film captured a white Hyundai Elantra parked near the residence at 3 a.m., when the murders happened. The police assume it was Kohberger's. The automobile was recovered at the Ph.D. student's parents' house in Pennsylvania, where he had driven it back to Pennsylvania.

According to Daily Mail, unidentified personnel at the auto repair business verified that Kohberger and his father brought their vehicle in for servicing following the trip,

A source said Koherberger's father was bragging about travelling out to the west coast to join his son on his holiday vacation home, and he recalled the 28-year-old as being reticent. It is unknown if Koherberger's father was aware of the killings. The automobile was eventually retrieved by police at Kohberger's parents' residence, where he was detained.

According to a recent report, the criminology student suspected of killing four University of Idaho students followed his alleged victims before to the November murders and wore gloves at a grocery weeks afterwards.

Per NY Post, a source connected to one of the case's detectives stated that Bryan Kohberger was frequently in the same vicinity as the three sorority sisters and one of their boyfriends before he reportedly slashed them to death while they slept at an off-campus residence.

Even when he escaped to his home state of Pennsylvania in recent days, Kohberger reportedly took care not to leave fingerprints behind, according to a person who spoke to a media outlet anonymously on Sunday.

After a night out on November 13 in the college town of Moscow, Idaho, roommates Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Kernodle's boyfriend Ethan Chapin, 20, were found dead in the women's apartment in the early morning hours.

Bryan Kohberger Researched About Crimes

Latah County Prosecutor Bill Thompson stated that Kohberger was arrested on four charges of first-degree murder and one count of felony burglary for entering the residence with the intent to commit murder.

Police had been searching for a Hyundai Elantra in connection with the crime, claiming in early December that they were looking through 22,000 Elantra registrations to find a match, as per USA Today.

Authorities stated that their investigation is ongoing and requested anybody who knows Kohberger or other members of the public with information that might assist "paint a picture" of what occurred to contact a tip line at 208-883-7180 or tip@ci.moscow.id.us.

Kohberger attended a 2019 psychology conference as a DeSales student, according to a schedule released online by Muhlenberg College, located in Allentown.

Seven months ago, a Reddit user called Bryan Kohberger, who identified himself as a student investigator, posted on the Prison and ExCons subreddits, encouraging individuals to engage in a study to determine "how emotions and psychological factors impact criminal decision-making."

The post said that the DeSales University Institutional Review Board had authorized the study, which intended to investigate the circumstances behind the user's most recent criminal act.

Friday, Reddit deleted the post. Friday, the survey indicating that Kohberger was cooperating with two DeSales professors was deleted from the university's website. Local news indicates that Kohberger formerly worked for the Pleasant Valley School District.
