Miami Mass Shooting: Multiple Gunshots Heard While French Montana, Rob49 Were Recording Music Video, At Least 10 Injured

Multiple sources state that authorities are still looking into a gunshot that occurred outside a restaurant in Miami Gardens on Thursday night and left at least 10 people injured.

Rappers French Montana and Rob49 were reportedly filming a music video in the vicinity when the Miami Mass Shooting incident occurred, thus, they may have been involved, according to Fox News.

WSVN reports that before 7:30 p.m., officers in Miami Gardens responded to a call about shots fired at The Licking restaurant and discovered many casualties.

Multiple individuals were hurt, and it was unclear how badly. Numerous eyewitnesses claimed that at least 10 individuals were shot, but police have not verified this.

Four of the patients were taken to local hospitals by paramedics and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, with one of them in serious condition. WFOR stated that several of the victims drove themselves to the hospital.

The restaurant parking lot was the site of a Miami Mass Shooting that occurred during the filming of a music video featuring rapper French Montana.

Gunshots Sounded Like Assault Rifle

Ced Mogul, a rapper, told NBC 6 that he saw a robbery take place while filming behind a KFC. Mogul said that between 10 and 15 gunshots were heard and that panic ensued.

As many as nine individuals, including rapper Rob49, were shot at The Licking, Mogul said. This has not been verified by the police.

Mogul said they heard the gunshots, which "sounded like an assault rifle," and then people began fleeing, some individuals had blood on their clothing, and others were weeping on the ground, per CBS News.

"When I realized people were asking for help, there was nothing you could do about it when you got shot," he told Fox News.

Ced Mogul reportedly told WSVN that he stepped outside to watch the rapper film the video. Mogul stated that the incident escalated when a man in the audience stole his watch and wallet.

Four people were rescued by helicopter and sent to Jackson Memorial Hospital. Their present health status is unclear.

It was unclear hours after the incident Miami Mass Shooting whether someone fired into the crowd or if there was an exchange of fire. Whether or if any suspects had been apprehended was likewise not known.

Investigation on Miami Mass Shooting Is Ongoing

A law enforcement official has said that police would review social media videos and CCTV footage of the Miami shooting from local businesses as part of their investigation.

In an uploaded Miami shooting video, taken before emergency responders arrived, the camera is panned around the gunshot site. Several bodies are scattered across the parking lot, seemingly unmoving, per Dailymail.

There has been no confirmation that French Montana was hurt in the incident, but his whereabouts are now unclear. According to TMZ, he was safely removed by security.

CBS reported that authorities will review social media footage and security cameras as part of their investigation.

According to MGPD detective Diana Gorgue, there were multiple shots and cases. So far authorities cannot verify the numbers, but the investigation is ongoing on the Miami Mass Shooting.
