Actor Jeremy Renner tweeted that he had been released from the hospital over two weeks after being crushed by a snowplow.

The 'Avengers' actor had been hospitalized since New Year's Day, when a snowplow hit him while cleaning a driveway near his Nevada home, causing "blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries," as per a CNN report on the Jeremy Renner accident.

Jeremy Renner, who also stars in "Mayor of Kingstown," tweeted: "Outside my brain fog in recovery, I was very excited to watch episode 201 with my family at home." Renner received two surgical procedures in the ICU, according to Jeremy Renner's update.

A 911 call record states Renner was "completely crushed" beneath a massive snowcat vehicle" and suffered from "extreme difficulty" in breathing." It also noted that the right portion of his chest has "collapsed," and his "upper torso is crushed," per the previous HNGN report.

Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam reported that the snowcat started to drift while the actor was away from the driver's seat in the Jeremy Renner accident. Since the New Year's Day accident in Lake Tahoe, Jeremy Renner has shared his journey to recovery on social media, according to Digital Spy.

The actor posted a picture of himself in bed on Instagram and thanked his followers for their good wishes for his complete recovery.

'Mayor of Kingstown' Poster Modified

After the horrifying Jeremy Renner accident, marketing visuals for Paramount+'s "Mayor of Kingstown" were altered. The network changed the key art for the program's second season out of compassion for Renner.

The series' poster originally portrayed Renner's face as bloodied and bruised. As some of the marks were disturbingly identical, the actor's look was tidied up after the Jan. 1 accident, per Yahoo! Entertainment. Jeremy Renner posted a hospital bed picture of his wounded face earlier this month.
