At least one person got hurt in a gunshot that occurred Thursday night inside a Walmart in Evansville, Indiana. Police say the suspect was killed in a gunfight, per reports.
The Indiana Walmart shooting occurred before 10 p.m. at the Walmart in Evansville's West Side district, a riverfront city roughly 180 miles south of Indianapolis, in local time.
The suspect, Ronald Ray Mosley II, 25, is said to have entered the establishment and started firing, according to the Evansville Police Department, as reported by ABC News.
Police have no information yet on how many customers were inside the establishment during the incident, per Fox News.
On Thursday evening, the Evansville Police Department tweeted about the incident and advised people to stay away from the area.

Some hours after the gunfire was first reported, Sgt. Anna Gray of the Evansville Police Department said at a news conference that the suspect had run all through the store during the shootout with police.
Gray said that the suspect would fire at cops and move throughout the shop. The police officer also noted that one female victim had been taken to the hospital. She said that cops arrived quickly and didn't wait outside the Indiana Walmart.
Walmart Issues a Statement
In a statement, Walmart said that the company is "shocked by the senseless violence" that happened and expressed sympathy to their employees affected by the Indiana Walmart shooting, as per a CBS News report.
"As we learn more, we'll do everything we can to support our associates as they cope with this tragedy," Walmart stated.
On November 23, six people were killed when a store manager at a Walmart in Chesapeake, Virginia, opened fire inside the establishment before killing himself, per an previous HNGN report.
