US President Joe Biden will deliver his second State of the Union Address on Tuesday night and attempt to ease national worries and doubts about his administration.
Biden's speech today will be made before a politically divided Congress as the country strives to understand perplexing issues at home and abroad, including economic instability, an exhausting conflict in Ukraine, and rising tensions with China, and cautiously evaluates Joe Biden's preparedness for reelection, according to AP News.
Joe Biden is expected to restate his demands for Congress to pass a clean measure that raises the debt ceiling without any restrictions. He claims that Congress must do so.
On Wednesday, Biden met with Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.). Though neither party committed, McCarthy left the meeting optimistic about a compromise, per The Hill.

Joe Biden is anticipated to use the address to kick off the 2024 presidential campaign with a list of policy goals that Congress may or may not endorse.
The Biden State of the Union Address will also highlight economic accomplishments after the COVID-19 recession, contrast Republican aims, and propose "unity" initiatives to unite the two major parties, according to Reuters.
Special Guests in Attendance
At Biden's speech today, first lady Jill Biden will sit with rock musician Bono, the 26-year-old who disarmed a shooter in last month's Monterey Park, California, massacre, and Tyre Nichols' family.
The White House claimed the guests in the Biden State of the Union Address were selected "because they personify issues or themes to be addressed" by the President in his speech or exemplify the Biden-Harris Administration's policies in action for the Americans.
President Joe Biden will more likely mention some guests by name during his address.
