The Pentagon and intelligence authorities are carrying out investigations in Alaska, Canada, and Michigan after the US military shot down UFO with missiles on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

One high-ranking US military official does not completely rule out the notion that they came from another planet.

After the US military shoots down UFO on Sunday, North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) chief Gen.Glen VanHerck was questioned about Aliens. He told reporters that he will let the intelligence and counterintelligence communities "figure it out."

"I haven't ruled out anything at this point," Gen. VanHerck said, according to The Huff Post.

American authorities have not yet rejected the possibility that there could be other UFOs. After the China spy balloon, some authorities suspect the UFO are from Beijing or another nation and are testing US detection technology, according to The New York Times.

The US military shoots down UFO over Lake Huron in Michigan, per a previous HNGN report.

The Defense Department (DOD) reported that at 2:42 p.m., President Joe Biden gave the order for an F-16 to launch an AIM-9X missile at a target around 20,000 feet over Lake Huron.

Increased UFO Detection in Recent Years

NORAD increased the sensitivity of its radar system after the passage of a China spy balloon this month. Due to this, UFO detection rate skyrocketed.

Recently, the Pentagon has made more effort to look into reports of unidentified aircrafts being seen by the military. These flying things, which are now called "unidentified aerial phenomena" (UAPs) in government jargon, are called "unidentified flying objects" (UFO) by the public.

Senior military authorities have indicated that hundreds of sightings of UFO in space, the air, or even underwater have led to investigations, according to NDTV.

Officials from the Pentagon have said that no proof of visits from intelligent extraterrestrial species has been uncovered.
