Michigan State University got rocked on Monday by a shooting that killed at least three individuals.
Authorities said the MSU shooting suspect also died from what seems to be a "self-inflicted gunshot wound," joining the three casualties, according to BBC.
Five more individuals were hurt in the Michigan State University Shooting late Monday at the main campus in East Lansing.
Interim Deputy Chief of MSU Police and Public Safety Chris Rozman identified the suspect in Monday's mass shooting as a 43-year-old man with no known ties to the university.
The Michigan State University Shooting suspect wore a navy baseball hat, a denim jacket, and red sneakers in the posted photographs.
Police first issued a shelter-in-place order for students and locals during the search, but eventually withdrew it, claiming there was "no longer" a danger to the campus.

Police found victims in Berkey Hall on the north side of campus and the Michigan State University Union building.
Following a press conference held early Tuesday, authorities assured the public that the two buildings where Monday night's Michigan State University Shooting took place would be open to the public during normal business hours.
MSU Vice President for Public Safety and Chief of Police Marlon Lynch called the MSU shooting response a "monumental" effort owing to the campus's vastness, as per a CNN report.
In a Monday press conference, Interim President Teresa Woodruff described the events of the day as "shock and heartbreak," per the Lansing State Journal.
"We are devastated at the loss of life. Our campus grieves, and we will all grieve. We will change over time," she said, noting that the institution "cannot allow" the incident to occur again.
