Is talk show queen Oprah Winfrey a fan of "Fifty Shades of Grey?" Well, it seems like she is. According to a new report by The Sun, Winfrey reportedly revealed that she is excited for the release of the movie next year starring Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele.
The 60-year-old former talk show host was spotted hanging out with Rita Ora (who plays Mia Grey in the film), Naomi Campbell and Georgina Chapman at The Weinstein Co.'s post BAFTA party Sunday, Feb. 17 at Rosewood London.
"I know Rita [Ora] and I know 'Fifty Shades of Grey' - and I just can't wait for the movie," she said, The Sun reports. "I've read the book and I just hope the movie is filthier than the book. Less talking, more action!"
However, a spokesperson for OWN told E! News that Winfrey never muttered those remarks but will fans get to see a racy movie next Valentine's Day? "Fifty Shades" producer Dana Brunetti told Collider in November that the movie will "obviously" have to be rated R but he was hoping to release a NC-17 version for fans who want to see a raunchier movie.
"So everybody could go and enjoy the R version, and then if they really wanted to see it again and get a little bit more gritty with it then have that NC-17 version out there as well," he said. "What we're kind of hearing from the fans is they want it dirty, they want it as close as possible [to the book]. We want to keep it elevated, but also give the fans what they want."
And if you're wondering whether Dornan or Johnson may get cold feet about the sex scenes you can relax because both actors have said they are completely comfortable with filming the sex scenes.
"I don't have any problem doing anything," Johnson said. "The secret is I have no shame."
"I'm a fairly worldly guy," Dornan said. "I grew up in a very liberal place. I'm not saying we had a playroom, but I'm not shocked by [the sex in the book], it's essential to tell the story. I can't believe films that don't invoke the sexual side of it. So it works for me."
"Fifty Shades of Grey" will be released Feb. 13, 2015.
