Corpse of Missing Georgia Man Found

On Monday last, March 6, the corpse of Nathan Millard, 42, was found and went missing on February 23 in Baton Rouge, reported Meaww.

The father of five was looking at a site that would be used by a construction firm when he disappeared, but how he died is not known. Based on the accounts by the man saying that the smell was overpowering and thought it was a dead animal but saw nothing. Driving northward from Baton Rouge, and stopped to check what the smell was.

The man who found Millard at the location said he noticed the smell of rotting flesh. The unidentified individual said the stench at the 2900 block of Scenic Hwy at about 3.34 am caught his attention. An Irish pub where the victim was last seen at 3:30 pm is 3 miles from the crime, according to UWK.

He went out with a flashlight to check what it was and came upon a lot that had carports. One of these parking areas had a rug hidden behind it, cited Daily Mail.

He thought it was food thrown out but saw feet instead in surprise. The shock of what was found made the discovered feel queasy and fearful, and he added that it was the first time to see a dead person.

Father of Five Dead by Foul Play

After Millard's mysterious disappearance, a non-profit called Texas EquuSearch, specializing in locating missing people, was involved. When the search began a week back, a bounty of 10,000 dollars was up for grabs if they could find the missing victim. An organization representative informed 11Alive that someone called the cop that a strong stench smelt from a vacant lot.

Authorities checked his room and saw nothing was moved because no one had occupied it. The next day when the victim did not show up for a meeting, is odd. Personal items like a phone and card were used and were discovered close to the hotel.

The deceased's wife, Amber, told the police that he was on a two-day business trip in Baton Rouge, as mentioned. After attending a basketball game, he went to a local watering hole with a client but never returned to his hotel.

Surveillance cams show him leaving the Courtyard Marriot, where his client was staying. Amber added that the victim had a remote conference with her at the LSU game, which he attended. Everything was normal so far until contact was lost.

Expecting that her husband would be texting her by the following day was out of the ordinary. At one point, the police told her that someone at an ATM close to the Greyhound bus station used Millard's card. The case status is that no suspects were brought in, but the investigation is still active.
