The ghost train is sleek and silver with details of red and grew, which was pulled by other trains. Noticeably, the train had no numbers, and windows were always blocked, according to the train enthusiast. But one unusual detail is a dome on top of one railcar, which has special hi-tech communication equipment for the Kremlin leader, per Popular Mechanics.

These stations were Novo Ogaryovo in Moscow's outskirts, built in 2015, and Valdai in 2019. During the pandemic, trainspotting enthusiasts and Korotkov have seen more of the ghost train transporting the Russian leader. It had more priority than other railways schedules, as observed.

In 2021, he posted that the train was at full speed, and other trains had to make way for it. Putin has been traveling in the locomotive as the war progresses in Ukraine, which Russian outlets investigate.

An outlet called the Dossier Centre in London, allegedly run by Kremlin critic Mikhail Khodorkovsky cited an anonymous source that Vladimir Putin prefers to travel by train as of 2021. The reason is that it is hard to track compared to planes.
