After an NBA probe, Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant was suspended for eight games and will miss at least three more.
The NBA published a statement on Ja Morant suspension stating that he was suspended without pay for eight games in light of the Instagram Live video showing him displaying a firearm "in an intoxicated state," per OutKick.
According to the statement, the league found that Morant did not own the pistol and did not carry it on team travels.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver stated that the behavior of Ja Morant was "irresponsible, reckless, and potentially very dangerous."
On March 20, Morant will be able to return to action after Ja Morant suspension.
The Memphis Grizzlies' All-Star has been in seclusion for the last several days while he gets professional help for the problems and Ja Morant gun scandal that have arisen over the past year.

Ja Morant Takes Full Responsibility on His Actions
Ja Morant supposedly finished counseling on Wednesday, and by Thursday, he was interviewed by ESPN's Jalen Rose, in which he tried to explain his recent actions, per Yahoo! Sports.
The Grizzlies guard stated the pistol at the heart of the Colorado club incident did not belong to him, but he accepted "full responsibility" for his actions.
"It's not who I am. I don't condone any form of violence, but I accept full responsibility for my conduct. I've made a big mistake," Ja Morant said in the interview.
He also expressed regret for his recklessness and willingness to pay the price for the Ja Morant gun scandal.
"I realize what I have to lose... I deserve that punishment for my mistakes," Ja Morant noted.
Sources reported that Ja Morant went to South Carolina and went to church to seek forgiveness for his misbehaviors after the Ja Morant gun scandal news broke out, as per a report from The Shadow League.
