On the bowling front, Angel Mathews took a game-high three wickets and Senanayake took two wickets; Lasith Malinga and Perera each took one wicket apiece.
Bangladesh was unable to get production from all of their batsmen. Shamsur Rahman led his side with 62 runs, and Monimul Haque chipped in with 44 runs. Bangladesh's bowlers performed better and took a total of eight wickets - Rubel Hossain, Shakib Al Hasan and Arafat Sunny all took two wickets apiece.
