The homicide was exposed after the stepdaughter could not contact him several times. She told the authorities on June 2021 that the victim was unheard of.Tabitha Zelida Wood, 46, was charged with the murder of Leroy Franklin Kramer Jr, 82, and found guilty of homicide by a Georgia jury last Friday, March 17, noted WSB-TV.

An autopsy examination on Kramer showed he died by foul play or homicide. The initial finding on the cause of death was by blunt and sharp force trauma, stated the office of the sheriff. Police said that she was charged with guilty of malice, dual instances of felony murder, exploiting an elderly person, and hiding the death of someone with financial transaction card theft.

Sources say that deputies from the sheriff's office went to the residence and found the corpse there. Wood informed the authorities how Kramer passed away in early April. She included the body has been there for more than two months, cited New York Post.

The accused added that she slept with the man's corpse for about three days, came to her senses, and claimed to realize later that he was dead and said that she could not accept it, as mentioned in the Gainesville Times.

Kramer and Wood got together after a mutual friend had introduced them at a Burger King for breakfast. The victim told his killer he no longer wanted to live alone, followed by moving into his Candler Road home in 2020. A year later, they were engaged.

Allegations by Wood said that Kramer was getting aggressive as their relationship lasted. She claims violence when he strikes her with a belt when she refuses to have sex. Furthermore, the accused refused to have sex with Kramer at the time he died.

In court, the defendant revealed that she would have relations with the victims to stop the abuse and torture that was allegedly happening. Every time she refused to have sex would be followed by belting from Kramer, mentioned in the Daily Mail.

Kramer did not eat breakfast the following day. When she checked on him, she noticed blood in the nose, and attempts to wake him failed. She stayed with the body for three days until realizing he was gone and lived for months with it instead of reporting his death.
