Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was brought to a hospital after being attacked by a group of people in the locker area of an LA Fitness gym in South Florida on Tuesday.
The music artist's lawyer Lance Lazzaro said that Tekashi 6ix9ine, whose actual name is Daniel Hernandez, 26, suffered bruising and facial damage. That is also clear in the viral Tekashi 6ix9ine LA Fitness video that is spreading like wildfire online.
Lazzaro said that three or four individuals assaulted the rapper both inside and outside the sauna at the LA Fitness club and severely beat him despite the rapper's attempts to defend himself in the Tekashi 6ix9ine LA Fitness incident, according to Variety.
The attorney added that the attackers of Tekashi 6ix9ine escaped when workers heard the commotion.

As mentioned, Tekashi 6ix9ine's LA Fitness video went viral on social media. A Twitter footage shows a man kicking and grabbing Hernandez in what appears to be a restroom.

In the video, the attacker was heard speaking a variety of racist slurs and other profanities, as per an Insider report. The rap star was shown in another video arguing aggressively with the guy recording him while bleeding from the face.

Lazzaro said that he would be requesting federal protection for Hernandez.
Tekashi 6ix9ine was reportedly removed from a Miami baseball stadium on Friday because he was intoxicated and irritating the crowd, according to multiple media sources.
Tekashi 6ix9ine, who is well-known for his loud rhyming style, his rainbow-colored hair, and his many tattoos, has a troubled history.
In 2015, Hernández was charged with utilizing a minor in a sexual performance and pled guilty. As a result, Hernandez received a four-year probationary term.
Hernandez was detained in 2018 after being charged with racketeering, attempted murder, and many firearms offenses. He served two years in jail after pleading guilty and testifying against Nine Trey Gangsters members. per WPTV.
By early August 2020, Tekashi 6ix9ine had been freed from prison.
