Competitors in the United States are striving to operationalize various weapon innovations. These weapons are redefining what it means to fight in space.
Last March 14, when Saltzman testified in the Senate, he debriefed how the space force will prepare to meet these challenges. According to General Saltzman of the US Department of Defense, there are two types of space threats: threats from space and weapons designed to destroy space assets.
