Missing Florida Toddler Boy Murdered Dad, as Is His Mother
A statement from Chief Anthony Holloway, St. Petersburg Police Chief, said that the corpse of Taylen Mosley was found after a day's search, noted on Facebook. He issues condolences to the immediate family.
Sources say that the boy's mom, Pashun Jeffrey, 20, was brutally slain on Thursday on the day of the search. A 911 call at 2:30 pm the afternoon referred to a commotion located on Lincoln Shores Apartment Complex on Fourth Street North, reported Law and Crime.
They responded and saw the mother dead with no sign of the toddler, which police thought could be in danger. Based on the details released by the SPPD, that utilized all the means it could to locate Taylen, if still alive. Several agencies participated in the search.
Boy's Body Was Seen in Alligator Jaws
Leads were gathered by detectives pointing to three locations found in Pinellas County, including Lake Maggiore. It is a vast 362-acre public lake named after the one in Italy, cited MSN.
A search in the lake with divers and drones was used. The officers noticed a gator with an object in its jaws there, as disclosed in a press conference last Friday night, WPTV reported.

Authorities noticed human remains in the animal's jaws and fired at them. The animal dropped the remains but was killed later. The police official added they got back the toddler's body.
Murder of Florida Boy's Mom Discovered
Holloway remarked that the family of Jeffrey saw the mom and sons last Wednesday at 5:30 pm in their residence. The mother of the deceased woman called the apartment manager on Thursday afternoon to ask him to look over her daughter and grandson. They were out of contact, which the police said.
A shocking discovery was made by the apartment superintendent when the unit the woman's dead body and called 911 later. One of the neighbors heard a commotion last Wednesday but did not call the cops.
So far, the police have not released the cause of death until the coroner does an autopsy. One suspect is the father, Thomas Mosley, with two instances of murder in the first degree. He allegedly killed the mother and toddler, remarked Holloway.
He has recently been hospitalized and informed SPPD of several cuts on his arms and hands. He was at his mom's late on Wednesday and went to a hospital. But no more developments due to the suspect not talking to the cops with no lawyer yet.
Holloway confirms they have not gotten any to pin the murder on the man. They suspect Thomas is somehow connected to the murders.
