In New York City, police have put up metal barriers around Trump Tower and blocked access to the Manhattan Criminal Courts in case of protests, as Donald Trump's surrender to authorities is expected on Tuesday.

After his indictment in a grand jury investigation into hush money payments to a porn actress, the former president is scheduled to be arraigned in court on Tuesday afternoon. Donald Trump is the first ex-president of the United States to be charged with a crime.

Several Trump allies, including Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, have announced that they would go to New York on Tuesday to oppose the Donald Trump indictment, which they see as a politically motivated investigation, Reuters reported.

Online extremism watchdog Site Intelligence Group reports that some social media users have advocated for the execution of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and the jury responsible for Donald Trump's indictment. According to ABC News, a court official has said that the 15th level of the New York State Supreme Court would be closed for the duration of Donald Trump's arraignment.

Several other cases before the state Supreme Court have been postponed to reduce the number of persons present in the courtroom during the former president's presence. When Donald Trump comes and goes from the building, roads around it must be closed.

Donald Trump's legal team provided a sneak peek of a strong defense that would develop against the background of a ferocious political campaign in the lead-up to Tuesday's appearance in connection with Donald Trump's indictment. His top supporters are already plotting to influence the criminal prosecution of Bragg by taking advantage of the current Republican majority in the House.

Joseph Tacopina, a lawyer for Donald Trump, stated that the former president's legal team would proudly and publicly proclaim the ex-president innocent and hinted at an effort to try to stop the hush money case from getting to trial, according to CNN.
