What happens when a passenger dies on board?
A few weeks ago, a flight attendant took to TikTok (@danidboyy1) to reveal what happens when a passenger dies.
In her video, she explained that the cabin crew couldn't legally declare someone dead. When the captain diverts the plane, it will remain on the aircraft until it reaches its final destination. She said that if there's enough space for the body, they will move it to an empty row of seats or a different cabin or galley.
However, if the flight is complete, the passenger will remain in their original seat until they have reached their destination.
