Donald Trump Hush Money Case: Stormy Daniels Says Ex-president Should Not Be Jailed if Found Guilty

The controversial adult film actress gets interviewed by Piers Morgan

Stormy Daniels, the adult film actress at the heart of the Donald Trump hush money case, has said that she does not believe the former US president should go to jail if he is found guilty of concealing the allegedly unlawful payments he made to her.

In an interview with Piers Morgan, Stormy Daniels remarked: "I don't think that his crimes against me are worthy of incarceration," Reuters reported.

"I feel like the other things that he has done if he is found guilty, absolutely," the porn actress continued.

Stormy Daniels also noted that she would "absolutely" be ready to testify against President Trump if the case went to trial in New York.

The interview with the controversial 44-year-old adult film star will be aired Thursday on Fox Nation.

Donald Trump appeared in criminal court in Manhattan on Tuesday, where he pleaded not guilty to 34 charges of falsifying company documents, per a CNN report.

According to the prosecution, the offenses were done as a component of a plan to hide the $130,000 allegedly given to Daniels in the last days before the 2016 presidential election to silence her about an affair the porn actress claims to have had with the Republican leader.

Trump has denied there was a romance between them. No misconduct is alleged against Daniels.

Donald Trump Case Judge Received Death Threats

In related news, several threats have been made against the judge in the case and his family in the 24 hours following former President Donald Trump's arraignment, according to two people who know the situation.

According to NBC News, a government official said that "dozens" of threats had been made toward Judge Juan Merchan and his chambers.

According to the second source, Alvin Bragg, the district attorney of Manhattan, and other high-ranking officials in his office are still the targets of death threats. The threats have been sent by phone, email, and snail mail.

New York City police officers on assignment at the district attorney's office ensure all concerned employees' safety. Meanwhile, court authorities are increasing judge and court security as a precaution.

Donald Trump has asserted that Judge Merchan "hates" him, citing Merchan's management of the tax fraud case against the Trump Organization and its former CFO Allen Weisselberg as evidence, per a previous HNGN report.
