Russia Now Gives ‘Financial Incentives’ to Troops Who Destroy NATO Tanks, Leaked Document Reveals

Another leaked Pentagon document disclosed that Russia almost took down a Bristish spy plane.

According to a leaked document, Russia vows to give its troops a "financial incentive" or a monetary bonus if they successfully damage or destroy a NATO tank in Ukraine.

As NATO tanks are on their way to Ukraine, Russia is giving its troops more reasons to destroy them immediately. It should further help the troops of the Russian nation to boost their morale as they seek to take over the east of Ukraine. Besides that, another leaked document reveals that a Russian fighter jet nearly shot down a UK spy jet last year.

Russia's Financial Incentives to Troops

According to The New York Times, a United States (US) intelligence document shows how Russia plans to encourage its troops to destroy advanced NATO tanks in Ukraine. The document disclosed that Russia offers its troops a monetary bonus when they destroy "foreign tanks."

The supposedly "top secret" document states that "financial incentives would be offered to capture and destroy foreign tanks."

The New York Times notes that the document that exposes the monetary bonuses for Russian troops is among the classified files that started sprouting like mushrooms on social media. The publication reports that government officials in the US have confirmed that the leaked documents are real.

Apart from financial incentives, the document also disclosed that Russia plans to spread videos of its troops successfully destroying NATO tanks. The document states, "videos of tanks being destroyed would be widely distributed."

Doing so seeks to help boost the morale of Russian forces into capturing the advanced technology provided by foreign countries.

The "top secret" file further explains that spreading these videos should "help reduce the confidence of Ukraine and the West." Above and beyond that, the classified document notes that it aims to "reassure Russian troops of their ability to overcome this new weaponry."

Russia Nearly Took Down a UK Spy Plane

Alongside the leaked documents, a document reportedly from the US Pentagon, now shared by many on social media, disclosed that Russia almost shot down a UK spy plane.

According to a report by Fox News, The British surveillance aircraft was flying near Ukraine. To be more precise, the leaked document states that the plane was flying over the Crimean coast when the incident happened last September 29, 2022.

The leaked document also revealed that a Russian fighter jet, known as Sukhoi Su-27, nearly took down the British spy plane using a missile.

Although the missile failed to take down the surveillance plane, Fox News notes that it would have been a significant development if it had been successful. It could potentially force NATO allies and the US into the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia.
